Seamus Moore was born in Thurles, County Tipperary in 1946. In his early twenties, at the height of the showband scene, he travelled the country playing the trombone, first with The Jack Hanley Showband from Templemore and later with the Enniskillen-based The Skyrockets.
Forty years on, Seamus shared his love of music, particularly the sixties (especially the Beatles) presenting music programmes on local radio. The research required for the radio shows motivated Seamus to write his first book ‘All Together Now, We Love The Beatles’ in 2015.
